All we need to do to stop wildfires is “clean your floors you gotta clean your forest”. In 2019 we were leaving the Grand Canyon North Rim campground. I saw this Ranger cleaning up the needles around the general store.
Arizona Strip 2019

“Arizona Strip” The drought stressed the Arizona Strip in 2019. It hadn’t rained much on the Arizona Strip that summer. There were no Monsoons to keep the grass alive. We took a summer time drive out to Toroweap Grand Canyon Overlook. There’s 60 miles of dirt roads out to the Toroweap Grand Canyon Ranger Station. The truck kicked up clouds of dust as we across the Arizona Strip. We came across this long disused Coral. It looked like how the land felt. After the Ranger Station you get to where you need Four Wheel Drive. The top soil has been blown away leaving rock to drive on.
I can get lost in my art work, as I add layers of color, and adding depth and texture to my art.
