I’m back at the Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery at the Galleria mall. Im here from 2:00 to 9:00 today. I have 4 of my bells for sale in front of the gallery and 12 of my 8 x 10 original oil painting.
I volunteer at Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery at the Galleria mall in NV. Security just past out Active Shooter Attacks by Homeland Security. I went and made sure the bathroom door locked so it can be used to hide in. I can’t run. This is a art gallery for local artist. #DoYourJob

It looks like I am going to finish up this bell today at the Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery I’m here from 2:00 to 9:00 today. The bell is getting better. The tree is in. The painting is based off my photos of Dead Horse state park UT.
I’m back at Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery. This bell is in the ugly stage. The back ground is in but need to be tweaked. Tomorrow I’m back from 3:00 to 9:00. There’s a tree going in.
It’s a bell I weather tested the oil primer and oil paints painted on the oil primer. They hung for 6 months outside so they went from 2 inches of snow to 115 degrees and with no problems.
Done for the day at the Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery back next Tuesday 6 to 9. The oil painting needs to dry. Then add highlights and shadows. Then add the leaves.
First break at Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery. The oil painting’s cloth is still in the ugly stag. I really don’t copy my photos. The painting will tell a simple story.
I was surprised my tree had any nectarines. The tree had to much shade. That’s all change when three palm trees came down. They will make a good still life.
I put “Oil can on truck rim” back up on the easel for shadows and highlights. It made it have more depth. It’s a 8″ x 10″ oil painting done here at Las Vegas Artists Guilds gallery at the Galleria Mall.
Old truck needed highlights and shadows. It looked flat it needed another layer of oil paint to push the house back. I’m at the galleryuntil 9 today. Then back next Tuesday 1:00 to 9:00
“Broken wagon” has been excepted into Celebrating Life Show. The painting is up from May 24 to June 20 2019. The city of Las Vegas Arts Commission is sponsoring this annual fine arts competition, “Celebrating Life!” recognize the talents of Southern Nevada artists age 50 and better. This is the 19th year for this popular art competition.
