I can’t remember the last time a put a Saguaro in a painting. A painting of a Arizona sunset should have a saguaro or two. I think it’s done. I’m here at the Las Vegas Artists Guild gallery from 3:00 to 9:00 Tuesday and Wednesday this week

I had a good vacation. I saw family and friends. I took some beautiful photos.

I am going to paint some of those photos here at #LasVegasArtistsGuild gallery. It’s located just right of the upstairs entrance to #Dillards in the #GalleriaMall

I think it might be done. I take a photo before and after. I started the oil painting at the gallery. So it’s had 5 day to dry it was very wet. I add the shadows and the high lights. The photo is from a trip to canyon land near Moab UT. We never got a really good sunset so put one in.

I’m here at #LasVegasArtistGuild gallery until 9:00. It’s just right of the upstairs entrance to #Dillards at the #GalleriaMall I said I was going to let the sky dry. To say I’m working wet on is a understatement.
